About Future Nobodies

Future Nobodies are a Chicago-based indie pop/alternative duo founded in 2021 by siblings Angel and Jessica Covarrubias. Blending dreampop, new wave, post-punk and synth textures, they’re known for dreamy yet introspective tracks like “Somewhen,” “Over It,” “No Te Mires Así” and “Attachment Issues.” Their debut album was Hotel De La Muerte (2021), and they released the EP Unloveable in April 2025. They’re prized for emotive lyrics, nostalgic atmosphere and genre-bending sound.
